Robinson As an artist, I believe I am a vehicle used by Spirit to pass on positive messages and energy to the community. These messages present themselves to me when I stay still and listen to my soul.
Although I have had some formal art training at the high school, college and university levels, I am mostly self-taught. As a youngster I always enjoyed doing art. I loved playing with colours and expressing my thoughts and perceptions of form using whatever materials I had at my disposal.
My creative process is simple. First I feel the energy of the work coming from inside. Then I begin to see it and know what media to use. I close my eyes and allow the first sketch to emerge. Then I open my eyes and continue to work. If I want to know how to get a particular effect, I simply close my eyes and look inside. I just keep working until the picture I have executed matches the picture in my soul. Each painting is a challenge, a birthing, a joy. Because of the way I make art, my work can be classisfied as Outsider Art.
Because my art comes from Spirit, I wish to make it accessible to as many people as possible. I believe that art should 'move' within the community. That way the positive energy of the work can be experienced by many people. Lifting people's spirits in this way helps to lift the community consciousness and contribute to creating a more harmonious and beautiful world. By combining art and eco friendly fashion, I can share the work and honour the Earth at the same time.
Art is what I have always wanted to do and it is what I am here to do. I have spent my life preparing to be the artist I am today. It is my blessing and my pleasure to share these gifts with you!
Ashe! and Enjoy!
